Karitela Bakeshop was established in December 2005 by two budding entrepreneurs, Maria Arlene "Ayin" Banaticla, and Jonathan "Gabs" Gabriel. Online friends at the Entrepreneur Philippines forums, Ayin and Gabs came up with a fresh concept for a value delivery-oriented bakeshop. Fast forward to today, the two have quickly capitalized on their concept while keeping an understanding ear on what their clients really want, thus Karitela Bakeshop was born.

Notwithstanding themselves as a new entry to the bakery business, Ayin and Gabs are confident that they can bring Karitela Bakeshop to new heights in the near future, with the goal of bringing good tasting bread closer to you.
